Complete your Data Processing Agreement
In accordance with GDPR legislation, clients of Salon Guru are required to complete a DPA. Under GDPR, Salon Guru's clients assume the role of the Controller. Salon Guru assumes the role of a Processor.
This DPA meets the requirements of the GDPR and is available to all Salon Guru clients to help you prepare for May 25, 2018, when the regulation becomes officially enforceable.
Salon Guru may in turn act as a Controller as it passes data to subcontractors and affiliates to act as a Processor.
After the completion of this DPA, Salon Guru (and its affiliates and subcontractors) may process Personal Data on behalf of the Client (Controller) completing the DPA and all involved agree to comply with the following Agreement with respect to any Personal Data, each acting reasonably and in good faith.
To complete this DPA, the Customer must:
- Provide contact information.
- Review the proposed DPA.
- Accept the proposed DPA.

Terminology
"Controller" is the entity which determines the purposes and means of the Processing of Personal Data. You are a Controller.
"Processor" means the entity which Processes Personal Data on behalf of the Controller.
"Sub-processor" means any Processor engaged by Salon Guru or its registered affiliates.
"Salon Guru" is the entity which is a party to this DPA, being Salon Guru Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.
"Affiliate" means any entity that directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by or is under common control with the subject entity.
This DPA is made available under GDPR, EU Regulation 2016/679.
