How To Add A Promotion To Salon iQ

If you want to add a new promotion to your Salon iQ booking system, so people can buy it online, here are the steps to follow.

1. Log into Salon iQ backend

2. Click on SETTINGS - SERVICES - ADD SERVICE (top right)

3. Make sure ONLINE BOOKINGS is active (green)

4, Add a brief description or title for your promotion e.g. New Year Hair Colour Offer... and complete the various options on the page which may include...

• Add Promotion Type e.g. Price Discount or Money Off Whole Bill
• Default Price: £50 (i.e. the usual price)
• Add Session Price (i.e. the offer price): £25 (i.e. half price) 
• Default Deduction: £25 (half price) or £50 (this is only if you want to give something away for free!)
• Duration Time:  60 (i.e. this is a 60 mins treatment)
• Processing Time: 15 (i.e this will take 15 mins to prepare for the treatment - giving you extra time in your Salon iQ slot if required)
• In Salon Deposit Type: None (or add in an amount if you are taking a deposit e.g. £15)
• Days of the week the promotion is valid
• Start and end date for promotion
• Whether you can book it online with a special code or not

5. On the left-hand side of the image above click on Services - make sure you turn the little tab green for the services that this offer applies to (e.g. hair colour, highlights)

6. If you have more than 1 salon, click on Salons and turn the little tab green for the salons this offer relates to.

7. Click on Team Menmers and each team member's name for all who are offering this 'offer service'. Edit each team member individually. 

8.  Make sure the offer is active (turn the Active button green). 

9.  SAVE

10.  Check the front end to see that the offer is showing as you want it to.
