  1. I have followed these tips right aware after I bought my domain and created my website. My business is new but after following these tips, I have managed to get on the second page of Google in a market of over 400 local salons. On top of that, my salon is in a market competing against large salons.

  2. Back links are so valuable. In one year our Hair Salon in Jacksonville, FL has achieved top rank on many of our keywords. We are so grateful for the traffic that comes in from it. For salon owners who don’t know how to do this, we would certainly recommend hiring a company like Salon Guru – it is well worth the investment.

    1. I saw what you did there 🙂 Finding good sites and getting a backlink from comments is a great way to boost SEO.

  3. Sometimes I obsess over the FB page for our best rated salon. Other days, I don’t have the energy or am so busy to even think about it. that’s why I love the schedule feature. On the days I’m manic over posting, being able to schedule does two things. 1) It saves our followers from being inundated with posts on these days. 2) It allows me to appear to be posting regularly for days and weeks at a time. I already have all the major holidays scheduled and done. I know Christmas time the last thing I will want to do is work… But we can still take advantage of the prime time feeds with lower traffic and higher usage as everyone is recovering from the turkey coma on the couch.
