In February of 2012, we started looking into re-branding our salon. We knew the current name and branding wasn’t ideal and we were searching for a consultant who could really help us understand the salon industry and the best way to come up with an actionable measurable plan.

As we did a ton of research, we kept coming across Salon Guru on many different blogs and educational posts. He really seemed to be at the forefront of web design, branding on the Internet and SEO.  Needless to say, we called Phil, had a great conversation and started working together immediately! Phil re-designed our entire site, guided us through best practices for layouts, content, photos etc.

The results have been absolutely staggering and more than we ever imagined this quickly. Our new site www.gloextensions.com launched on April 20th, 2012. At the time we were only averaging about 30-40 site visits per day. Not to mention the fact that we mainly do hair extensions, which is not a low priced item. Our Google rank in Denver, CO was 76th for Hair extensions and out of the top 100 in almost every other category we listed.
